Stainless steel or INOX is the name currently given to steel with a high percentage of chrome, which does not rust when exposed to air and water. Chrome, oxidizing in contact with oxygen, is transformed into chromium oxide (CrO2) that adheres to the piece, blocking further oxidation. This phenomenon is known as passivation.
Stainless steel can be made in different types of finish, shiny or opaque, making it possible to create products that fit perfectly into all types of surroundings, especially modern ones. It also guarantees a high resistance to atmospheric agents and is easy to clean in its limited shapes and sizes with a high resistance to stress and pressure.
